Mug Cake no Egg Recipe

Description

This simple vanilla mug cake recipe delivers the best of both worlds: a wonderfully delicious dessert that’s also astonishingly quick, thanks to a few short moments in your microwave.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 tbsp self-rising flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • 6 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp oil

Instructions

  1. Place all the ingredients in your mug and stir well. If you find it difficult to stir the base well, you can mix everything together in a separate bowl. Then simply pour the batter into your mug.
  2. Place the mug in the microwave at full power for 140 seconds (2 minutes and 20 seconds). In my case, that’s 800 watts. The time may vary from one microwave to another.
  3. Pierce your cake with a skewer to see if it is done; if the skewer comes out dry and clean, it is done.
  4. You can top your cup cake with a dollop of whipped cream, but it tastes delicious plain!
